The FarmPower - Gwaza Story

Founded by John Price in 1967 primarily as an electric fencing manufacturer, known as Salop Fencing Ltd, the company expanded into gate and general steel fabrication serving the agricultural, automotive and industrial sectors.

The main focus, with Ray Cannon as the Works Director in the 1980's, was to become a three point linkage manufacturer for OEM and aftermarket companies around the world. This led to the company being renamed “FarmPower International Ltd.” A new range of products was subsequently added to complement this and the company began to concentrate on the UK market with renewed vigour.

Wanting to retire John sold the firm to myself and Chris Kempton in 2002. With 50 years of combined experience in agriculture and manufacturing sectors, we have steadily expanded the company. As our distribution into the aftermarket for engineers, agricultural dealers and retailers has grown, we re-branded the company Gwaza Ltd, and have focused on building a range of products that are in demand at affordable prices as shown in our catalogue.

Our aim is to keep Gwaza Ltd a customer friendly, reliable and flexible company, supported by staff who share the same ethos.
